State verification of sample and working measuring means
State verification of standard and working measuring means of ionizing radiation in protective, search, therapeutic and emergency in the ranges of measurement, for radiation protection, radioecological monitoring, medical diagnostics and beam therapy, army investigation, systems of AKRB and ASKRK of stationary and transport reactors, technological lines by production of radionuclides.
Laboratory of state standards carries out the following metrologic works and services in the field of measurement of ionizing radiation:
- Research of energy dependence of sensitivity of dosimetric measuring means of X-ray, gamma- and bremsstrahlung radiation in photon energy range from 5 keV till 10 MeV;
- Calibration of dosimetric measuring means in the fields of photon radiation of radionuclides from 55Fe, 57Co, 60Co, 109Cd, 137Cs, 226Ra, on the modes of X-ray radiation: series L, N, H according to ISO 4037, series RQA, RQR according to IEC1267, on the modes of bremsstrahlung radiation of linear accelerator with boundary energy 4, 6, 10 MeV in units of expositional, absorbed, ambient, equivalent dose �*(10), directed equivalent dose �� (10) and cerma in the air in the range of background and emergency values of the level of radiation;
- Calibration of dosimetric means of measurement in the fields of beta-radiation of such radionuclide sources 90Sr+90Y, 106Ru+106Ro, 147Pm, 204Tl;
- Research of characteristics of fields of X-ray (not-interrupted and impulse), gamma-, bremsstrahlung and beta-radiations;
- Working out of specific technical and operational documentation of dosymetric, radiometric and spectrometric measuring means including technical conditions, manuals for operation, technique of verification and carrying out of measurement;
- Research of anisotropy of sensitivity of dosimetric measuring means;
- Research of sensitivity of dosymetric measuring means with the accompanied kinds of radiation;
- Certification of fields of measurement of medical accelerators of the type SL, Clinac, Mevatron, LUEV-15M, LUER-20MT, LUER-40MT and industrial accelerators of the type UELV, ELU, ELIT, MIT, "ELECTRON", foreign ("Philips", "Variant", "Siemens", CGR MeV) and domestic firms ("D.V. Ephremov SRI of Experimental Physics", "SRI of introscopy, Tomsk Polytechnic University", "Science Institute of Nuclear Physics, Siberia Branch, Academy of Science of RF") in energy range from 300 keV till 50 MeV;
- Research and calibration of radiometric and dosymetric measuring means in the fields of electronic and bremsstrahlung radiation with energy from 300 keV till 50 MeV in conditions of narrow and folded bunches;
- Working out and production of primary measuring converter of the type of Faradeys cylinder, calorimeter-cylinder, calorimeters of full absorption, calorimeters of absorption etc., based on charging, calorimetric and ionizing methods of measurement of characteristics and parameters of fields of electron, bremsstrahlung and proton radiation with energy till 50 MeV;
- Research of metrological characteristics and parameters of radiometric and dosymetric detectors of electron and bremsstrahlung radiations to be developed;
- Development of technique of carrying out measurement with the help of certified measuring means of characteristics and parameters of radiation fields of accelerators in the field of certification of the customer.
Quality of carried out metrological researches and services is provided by quality system acting at the enterprise and correspondance to ISO R Standard 9001 (International Standard ISO 9001) in accordance with relevant legislation.
