Application
Phantoms are designed for calibration of whole-body counters used for monitoring radioactive nuclides accumulated in a human body (organs) due to nuclear accidents.

Description
Standard samples are models (phantoms) of a human body and its organs.
Phantoms are hand-made of tissue-equivalent solid plastic materials with incorporated radionuclides.
Standard samples are sealed radionuclide sources. They have Certificates issued by GOSSTANDART of the Russian Federation (Federal agency on technical regulating and metrology of the Russian Federation).

Phantoms meet the following requirements:

• equivalence with respect to simulated organ tissue
• homogeneity of radionuclide distribution in the organ or tissue
• anthropomorphism with respect to human build
• reproducibility of measurement geometry
• interchangeably of gamma radiation sources
• metrological certification of radionuclide sources and a phantom
• safe operation and transportation

A Customer can order the following phantoms:

• Unified solid phantom of whole body (UP-02T)
• Phantom of lungs (PL-03T / PLP-05T)
• Phantom of thyroid with Ba-133 (PT-04T)
• Whole body phantom with Sr-90 (FTS-06T)
• Phantom of frontal bone with Sr-90 (FLK-07T)
• Human torso phantom (composite phantom, KP type with Pu and Am)
